Welcome to La Source Tranquille, our two-bed, 4 épis oasis of calm in Mouy, France. We are located just one hour from Paris and two hours from the Côte d'Opale and Calais in the north of France, and we are perfectly central between the historic towns of Beauvais, Chantilly and Senlis.

Rural Bliss

La Source Tranquille is wonderful oasis of peace, sat in the owner's large walled garden. Behind the big green gates you can relax on your private deck whilst you listen to the waterfall babbling into the stream, or play badminton in the summer sun. The games room is usable all year-round with table tennis, darts and table football. There are walks a-plenty from the gates straight up into the meadows of the farmland all around and plenty of cycling routes either following the river or over the rolling Vexin hills.

Small Town Charm

Mouy is a small town of around 5000 people and we are just 400m from its centre with its shops and bakeries, five of the latter! You won't even need to use the car if you don't want to as there are restaurants and bars to visit within walking distance, and even a train station that'll whisk you into Paris in under an hour for a day trip.

    Prices

    Our prices include all charges including towels and sheets. There is a compulsory cleaning fee of 50€ added to each booking, and depending how you book there may be a booking fee.

    Wonderful Cycling

    La Source Tranquille is perfect as a base for your cycling tour around the beautiful Picardie countryside and the Vexin. We are located just minutes from the river Thérain which means all rides back to Mouy end with a downhill stretch! You can follow the river for easy rides or venture further afield over the rolling hills.

    ABOUT US

    We moved to France in 2001 having fallen in love with it during our holidays. We found our current home in 2010 and moved in on the Friday, with the work starting on converting one of our outbuildings starting the following Monday! It has been a labour of love and we are very proud that we have kept the character of the original building whilst making everything modern and up to date.
